How long would it take to watch all the Star Wars movies in one day?
My friends and i are planning on watching all of the star wars movies in one day and i was wondering what time we would need to start and how long it would take
I love all the “guesstimating,” but that’s impossible to avoid, isn’t it?
Here is how long each movie is. (With “The Clone Wars” just in case you were thinking of including it.)
The Phantom Menace – 2 hours 13 minutes
Attack of the Clones – 2 hours 22 minutes
The Clone Wars – 1 hour 30 minutes
Revenge of the Sith – 2 hours 20 minutes
A New Hope – 2 hours 1 minute
The Empire Strikes Back – 2 hours 4 minutes
Return of the Jedi – 2 hours 14 minutes
Add that all together and you get:
All together: 14 hours 44 minutes
All together (not counting The Clone Wars): 13 hours 14 minutes
Of course, that’s if you pressed play at the beginning of the first movie and there was no break in between any of the movies.
Now you want to factor in the time it takes to switch DVDs, bathroom and/or food breaks, talking in between, possible unexpected interruptions… you’ll want to add what you think will be enough time to make an estimate.
If it we me, I’d plan on a minimum of 16 hours.
