Why do Florida Gators Fans always have such high demands and expectations?
And With all the Talent Florida has that meyer is leaving do you think they could win another Title in the next five years?
With the SEC being WAY down this year it is an indication that Florida could win within the next 5 years. I bet nobody thought a mediocre Auburn team would come off a 3-5 SEC in conference season to win the SEC. I bet nobody thought Alabama would be exposed for the overrated team that they are. I bet nobody thought South Carolina was going to be in the SEC finals. Essentially with the SEC you never know what you are going to get because the media and local fans are so caught up in their own fantasy’s with how great they think their team is nobody ever bothers to really check to see if they really are that good.
Florida has great coaching and great recruits so they could be in it any year. The problem this year was the typical schedule avoidance in none conference (the SEC is notorious for scheduling the worst teams in other leagues out of fear of real competition) and the fact that since everybody was so caught up in how great they were they forgot to check to see if they had a QB.
To directly answer your question, Florida could win the SEC or the National Title again in the next few years if they manage to find a scheme that will work around their QB shortcomings AND because Alabama is going into rebuilding mode next year along with Auburn.
