How do you get used to a larger football?
I was an eigth grade quarterback and had a great season last year using a youth sized football. I had a very strong arm, but now that I will be an ninth grader next year I will use the official football. I have practiced with the official ball, but I had much less zip on my passes I was less acurate and couldnt throw nearly as far. Do you have and suggestions to get used to this larger ball and improve my arm strenghth?
Just work with it. play catch all the time. Although you are a qb catching the ball will help you adapt to the bigger ball but of course throwing helps the most. Just work with the bigger ball and you will soon to get used to it.
