Sophomore Football Question?
Ok, i’m going into my sophomore year, and i am a FB/TB hybrid. I converted from linebacker after i dropped my 40 into the 4 second range (4.89). I have a cowboy collar from McDavid, and alot of buddies of mine that touch the ball (recievers, quarter backs, running backs) wear those back plates that cover your lower back.
Should i wear my collar while rushing the ball, and/or invest in a back plate?

BF%: 14.
If i were a running back, I probably would but only if it did not affect my speed, and elusiveness.. So try doing some drills with it on and without it on and see how you feel and then the decision should be easy.
