If the USA concentrated on soccer/football do you think they could dominate?
If they cared about it as much basketball, baseball or football they could probably dominate and actually have a chance to go far in the World Cup. The best athletes in the USA play basketball or football or baseball. If someone such as LeBron James played soccer he could easily best one of the best players in the world. If LeBron James was a striker he could easily score goals like Messi or David Villa can. Do you think they could be amazing if they concentrate on soccer instead of other sports?
Few TV channels can afford a continuous 45 min soccer game broadcast without commercial break. Without these revenue, soccer players won’t make obscene income like baseball, basketball, or golf players do. Without TV broadcast and the public won’t interest in the game. Also, No body like to running around in the field for 90 min and peanuts.
Do you know why TV channels rather broadcast golf matches but soccer matches? Golf matches have lot of commercial break!!!
