You saw me and i noticed
as you watched,
the splendor and dazzle that radiates from
youth is what, was caught.
you were a tall drink of water, not
what i was use to or what i thought
i would want?
you were weird, but had redeeming
but i still managed to keep you on the hunt.
still young i didn’t really know my wants?
to play your inner harmony, brought out the bad girl
side of me.
now my switch has landed you see?
no longer am i a leader, but just another passenger sitting
in her seat.
time for you to take shift and do the leading.
when you do lead, the quality of seduction you released,
i never knew it was all a ploy just to finally conquer the rumbling storm, that is me.
now you’ve moved unto higher sea’s,
leaving me docked on dry land, faded name,
no use, this ol’ship has sinked end.
