The Benton Panthers 2025 season finished with another conference championship, this one shared with the Sylvan Hills Bears as co-champions of the 6-A East Conference. The Panthers finished 9-3 with a fourth consecutive trip to the Class 6-A Semifinals. HISTORIC PANTHER SEASON COMES TO AN END IN SEMIFINAL LOSS
A historic Benton Panther season came to a disappointing end on Black Friday with a 63-45 loss to the Greenwood Bulldogs at Smith Robinson Stadium. The Panthers end the year 9-3 overall. The Panthers went 6-1 in the Class 6-A East Conference earning them a third consecutive championship, shared this season with the upstart Sylvan Hills Bears. It’s time for Benton Panther Football! The second season for the Panthers begins tonight when the Mountain Home Bombers come to the Palace for a 6-A State Playoff Quarterfinal matchup. The Benton Panthers broke a 14-14 halftime tie with the Marion Patriots on the opening drive of the second half on a nine-play, 66-yard drive. Senior quarterback Drew Davis scored on a three-yard run and Gabe Wilbur kicked the PAT to give Benton a 21-14 lead with 9:35 remaining in the third quarter.
